Q&A
GAT-Ship can be used by agencies of all sizes, we have clients ranging from companies with small volumes to companies with high volume and offices worldwide. However, we recommend a minimum volume of 300-500 port calls per year or more to maximize the benefits of using GAT-Ship.
Our customers pay for each new port call they create, and the price depends on the volume of port calls purchased upfront. Normally our clients purchase a port call volume for approximately a year.
Discounts are given based on the purchased volume of port calls, please contact GAT-Ship for details.
Setup, installation, support and updated versions of the software (when available) is included in the port call prices.
By using GAT-Ship you will first of all be able to control all your port calls from a central "Whiteboard". For each port call you can handle all important tasks like cargo loading/discharging planning, Statement of facts, Expenses, Email handling, Document handling, Checklists, Crew change +++
If you have several agencies, each agency will have its own whiteboard/port calls, and different users might have different privileges for different functions.

Yes. We provide a built-in tool to import and export data in the GAT-Ship database using .txt files. This tool allows for some standard import/export formats, but if these formats are unsuitable for the client’s need, we can create a customized import/export job for a fee.
We also can provide a REST API that can be used if this method of integration is preferred.
